God wants you well. He wants His children healthy! He's given us great foods, bodily exercise, and knowledge about how to take care of our bodies. But there are times when you do the right things, your body is still attacked by sickness and disease. What do you do if the medicine is not working? What do you do if the symptoms just won't go away? What do you do if you are attack with a simple headache or back pain? Do you just ignore and eventually it will go away? Think about it. Would would you do?
Regardless of what you decide to do, the first thing "we" should do is take our spiritual "medicine". We should take it everytime we're attacked by sickness or disease. We shouldn't wait until the doctor says, "There is nothing he can do." or we're experiencing unbearable pain so we decide we need God's help. We don't wait until after we've tried everything and nothing is working to then pick up the scriptures in hopes that they may do something! NO! We need to have FAITH in knowing the Word of God Works! The scriptures are life and they are health. Feast of the healing scriptures to build your faith in God's healing power!
Proverbs 4:20-22
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear
unto my sayings.
Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
Isaiah 53:5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities:
the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are
healed.
Psalm 107:20
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their
destructions.
Jeremiah 17:14
Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save
me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
Matthew 9:35
And Jesus went about all the cities and villages,
teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and
healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
God Wants You Well!
It Please God to Heal You! God Wants you Well! Healing is a Good thing and NO GOOD thing WILL He withhold from them that WALK UPRIGHTLY! God is faithful to His Word! Are you faithful in trusting His Word? Are you faithful in standing on His Word?
There is LIFE in the Word of God. Jesus said in John 6:63: It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
SPEAK THE WORD TO YOUR BODY
It may seem strange to others but to those of us who are saved, it is the WAY. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Our tongue has the ability to produce life. Why not use it for that purpose? If you're sick, speak the healing scriptures to your body and watch your body conform to those scriptures. There is Power in the Spoken Word of God!
